Mahindra KUV 100 Anniversary Edition Showcased at Autocar Performance Show 2017


The utility vehicle leader, Mahindra has been showcased the anniversary edition of its Mahindra KUV 100 at the Autocar Performance Show 2017.  The Mahindra KUV 100 offers with a fashionable new look to increase the KUV 100 range in the present market. In fact, the features brochure of the KUV 100 anniversary edition has been leaked in online and the model expected to be launched in the coming days.
Coming to the design, the KUV 100 offers with the dual tone exterior, Dazzling Silver and Flamboyant Red colors, which can be available with the black roof. For a new look, the KUV 100 anniversary edition gets the 15-inch alloy wheels with a dynamic design in the high-end variant, whereas the 14-inch alloy wheels with the Spider design to be offered in the KUV 100 K6 and K6+ variants.
Like the Mahindra Nuvosport, the KUV 100 will offer the four accessory kits, including Sporty Interior Kit, Sporty Exterior Kit, Premium Interior Kit and Premium Exterior Kit.
As per the reports, the 2017 KUV 100 will get the updates to the powertrains (engines) for better fuel efficiency and performance, but the features brochure doesn’t contain about this. Currently, the KUV 100 is available with the 1.2-litr G80 petrol motor, which generates maximum power of 82bhp and the torque of 115Nm. Also, the diesel version offers with the 1.2-litre D75 diesel engine rated at 77bhp of power and 190Nm of torque.
Both engines offered with the 5-speed manual transmission, the petrol car returns the fuel efficiency of 18.15kmpl, while the diesel rated at ARAI tested mileage of 25.32kmpl. The reports emerging that the KUV 100 will get the AMT variants, but there is no confirmation whether the KUV 100 AMT to be available in the part of anniversary edition update.
Just 10 days back, Maruti has launched the Ignis crossover to target the existing KUV 100, but the Ignis will get the toughest completion from KUV 100 after the release of the anniversary edition.
