Maruti Vitara Brezza crosses 10,000 sales mark in October 2016


The biggest Indian car company, Maruti Suzuki has sold more than 10,000 units of the Vitara Brezza in the Indian market in October 2016. To get the highest sales in the last month, the festival season helps the carmakers as well as the automotive industry. Compared to the regular ones, the demandable and new products have seen the highest sales reports due to the sentiment of festivals. The Vitara Brezza compact SUV is one among them and reported 10,056units sales in the country.
Three months back, the compact SUV has already crossed 10,000units sales mark and this is the second time from its introduction in March 2016. Maruti Suzuki sold 10,232 units in the month of July 2016 and the Vitara Brezza was one of the top selling cars in the last month.
The carmaker has sold more than 60,000 units of Vitara Brezza from its launch and expected that the compact SUV to reach the sales mark of 1 lakh units by this year end. Moreover, the compact SUV comes with 6 to 10 months of waiting period based on the variant. The company has to optimise the production capacity of the Brezza for delivering the cars in the scheduled time frame.
Being a sub-4metre SUV, the Brezza gets the high reputation from the Indian customers. With the observation of success, the company plans to introduce the Vitara Brezza petrol and automatic cars.  Currently, the Vitara Brezza is available with the 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine, which is mated with the standard 5-speed manual gearbox and rated at the power of 89bhp and the torque of 200Nm. The diesel car returns the fuel economy of 24.3kmpl with the parent company’s global C platform.
The sub-4metre SUV is priced at Rs. 8.08lakhs (On-Road, New Delhi) and available in nine exterior colors.
