New Volkswagen Passat GT Concept Revealed


The German carmaker has been revealed the Volkswagen Passat GT concept, which is developed for the US. The newly conceptualised model, Passat GT has been showcased at the 2016 Paris Motor Show and currently, it may debut at the ongoing LA (Los Angeles) motor show.

The Volkswagen Passat GT is offered by the six-cylinder 3.6-litre VR6 engine that is mated to the 6-speed DSG dual-clutch (automatic) gearbox and rated at the maximum power of 284hp. The new Passat GT is developed based on the seventh generation model, which is on sale in the US market. In terms of appearance, the concept car is 15mm lower than the existing one and offered with the more than 20 design updates for an attractive and gorgeous look.
The new Passat GT to be available with the honeycomb front grille with the red color surrounding, which is inspired from the Volkswagen Golf GTI, black window surroundings, LED headlights, smoked taillights, boot spoiler, black colored roof and boot spoiler, 19-inch alloy wheels, angular exhaust and red colored brake calipers. With these, the new Passat GT gets the feature-rich look compared to the existing Passat.
Coming to the interior features, the instrument panel and doors to be effected with the carbon-fibre trim, centre console finished with piano-black, black headliner and dual-tone sporty seats with contrast stitching. The new Passat GT will meet the desires and needs of the US customers after its launch. As per the reports, the new Passat GT will set to launch in the next year in the US.
