2017 Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire and Swift models spied




The next generation Swift and Swift Dzire models spied at different locations and the both cars will most probably launch in the country in H2 2017. The testing model of Swift Dzire has appeared with the totally covered exterior. The images of the Swift Dzire have been captured and reveal the new details. The upcoming sedan to be featured the LED-powered brake lights, projector headlights with the brightened elements like LED daytime running strips, taillamps and smooth ORVMs with turn indicators. With these, the spied model is expected to be the top-end version.
The Swift Dzire is likely to get the face of the 2017 Maruti Swift, which was revealed very recently for the first time. Besides, the sedan will receive the minor changes to the bumper and hexagonal grille for different identification from the 2017 Swift. The interior of the production ready Swift Dzire to be offered with the black colored dashboard, fabric seat upholstery, as well and similar to the existing model’s interior in terms of colors.
The 2017 Maruti Swift Dzire sedan will be manufactured at the new Suzuki’s Gujarat plant and launched before the introduction of its sibling hatchback, 2017 Swift. The complete details of the Dzire yet to be revealed in the automotive market.
2017 Swift:
The final design of the 2017 Swift hatchback has revealed for the first time, while the exterior line of the next generation hatchback has officially exposed in the last march. The upcoming 2017 Swift will receive the lightweight platform from the Maruti Baleno and weight between 830 to 930kgs based on the version.
The revealed model will be the top end variant of the existing Swift and available with the hexagonal mesh grille with the chrome garnish and contrast red embellished, projector headlamps, foglamps, diamond cut alloy wheels and ORVMs with turn indicators. The 2017 Swift will be offered in the new metallic red color, similar to the Mazda’s Soul Red Metallic.
In the Japanese and European markets, the Swift is reported to power by the 4-cylinder 1.2L Dualjet petrol engine with SHVS and the turbocharged three-cylinder 1.0LBoosterjet petrol engine with transmission options of 5-speed manual, CVT and 6-speed automatic. The company has to be disclosed the engine specifications for the Indian market and debuted at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, in March 2017.
The next-gen Swift will be launched in H2 2017 or staring months of 2018, after the launch of the 2017 Swift Dzire.
