Volkswagen India, the domestic unit of German auto giant, has launched the limited edition of the existing VW models, Polo, Vento and Ameo. The limited editions named as VW Polo Crest, Vento Crest and Ameo Crest, which are available at the authorised Volkswagen showrooms with monthly EMI of Rs. 10,999, Rs. 14,999 and Rs. 11,999 respectively.
Three models get the Wolfsburg crest on the C-pillars, gloss black side foil and matte black roof. Coming to the specification list, the Polo and Ameo limited editions available with the black tailgate or trunk garnish, but the Volkswagen Vento offers with the boot-mounted spoiler. Additionally, the Polo comes with the roof-mounted spoiler in gloss black color.
The interior of the three VW special models is offered with the exclusive features, including the premium textile mats, front centre armrest, doorstep garnish, leather seat covers with the print of Wolfsburg crest and diamond stitching, and attachable sun blinds. Moreover, all three models get the regular Polo features.
Both Polo Crest hatchback and Ameo Crest compact sedan models offered with the 1.2L MPI and updated 1.5L TDI engines, which paired with the transmissions, 5-speed manual and 7-speed DSG automatic (only in Ameo). The Vento sedan offered with the 1.6L MPi petrol, 1.2 TSI and the updated 1.5 TDI engines, which mated to the 5-speed manual gearbox, 6-speed automatic (petrol) gearbox and the seven-speed DSG automatic (diesel).
