New Maruti Suzuki Ciaz to introduce in April 2017


Based on the reports, the Indian carmaker to introduce the new Maruti Suzuki Ciaz facelift in April 2017 in India. Moreover, the reports indicated that the Ciaz facelift will go on sales via the premium dealerships in the Nexa network along with the upcoming Maruti Ignis and the existing cars, S-Cross and Baleno.
The petrol variant of the new Ciaz facelift is expected to be powered by the 1.5-litre M15 100hp engine, while the diesel variants will continue the same 4-cylinder 1.3-litre turbodiesel DDiS engine with the Suzuki’s mild hybrid system (SHVS). Similar to the existing Ciaz, the new facelift will offer with the 5-speed manual as a standard gearbox and automatic gearbox in the petrol variants.  
Maruti Suzuki expected that it has to get more sales from the premium NEXA dealerships with the introduction of new Ciaz facelift and Maruti Ignis, the upcoming sub-4metre crossover. Currently, the Maruti S-Cross and Baleno hatchback are offered in the via the NEXA network.
The Indian carmaker has planned new Ciaz facelift for the next year as its closest rivals next-generation Honda City facelift and Hyundai Verna models will set to launch in the next year only. Besides, Maruti Suzuki is planning to expand the NEXA network by opening the new premium dealerships. That’s way, the carmaker plans to sell the Ciaz facelift though the NEXA outlets.
