Mahindra launched Jeeto CNG variant at Rs. 3.49lakh

Mahindra has launched the Jeeto CNG variant in the Indian market and priced Rs 3.4lakh in Delhi ex-showroom. The Mahindra Jeeto CNG variant to be offered on the high-end version of the existing Jeeto X716 model. The CNG model is powered by the single-cylinder 625cc engine that generates the maximum output of 16bhp power and 38Nm torque at the speed range between 1200 to 2000rpm.

With the best payload of 700kg, the Jeeto CNG small commercial truck has rated at the superior mileage of 33.2km/kg. The company aims to promote the eco-friendly vehicles so that it has launched the Jeeto CNG variant. Besides, Mahindra has been developed CNG variant to fulfil the transporter’s business needs

In fact, the Mahindra Jeeto is the popular commercial mini truck from the Indian biggest utility vehicle manufacturer in the sub 1-tonne load segment. Launched in June 2015, the Mahindra SCV becomes as the best ever product with the modular range of 8 small trucks in the commercial market.

On the stage of Jeeto CNG launch, Pravin Shah, chief executive of Mahindra (Automotive division) said, the company has taken another step to promote sustainable mobility solutions with the launch of Jeeto CNG. Mahindra expected that the Jeeto CNG will be the perfect CNG mini truck for the customer’s business needs and offered an excellent value proposition for their customers.      

Being an Indian UV maker, Mahindra offers the new technologies, including micro hybrid, electric and fuel smart. It has been introduced the electrical vehicles in India, such as Mahindra e2oPlus, e2o, e-Verito electric car and Mahindra eSupro that is the first electric minivan in the country.

The CNG variant comes with the car features, including the spacious cabin with better headroom and legroom, bucket seat, head restraints, ELR seat belt systems, longer wheel base of 2500mm, as well. Avail at authorised Mahindra dealers and priced Rs. 3.49lakhs (ex- Delhi).
