Audi Launched R8 Spyder in the UK


The luxury car manufacturer, Audi has been introduced the Spyder version of R8, named as Audi R8 Spyder, in the UK market at the on-road price tag of £ 129,000 (around Rs. 1.14 crore). The Spyder version is the highly desirable convertible model of the existed R8.

The German carmaker has not included the extra power in the R8 Spyder, but the model comes with the 50 percent extra rigidity than the outgoing coupe version. Under the specifications, the Spyder version comes with the fully automated and lightweight cloth hood that is to be fully opened or closed in around 20 seconds at the speed up to 31mph.

Similar to the R8 Coupe version, the R8 Spyder received the V10 engine from Lamborghini. Moreover, the Quattro AWD (all-wheel drive) system and 7-speed S-tronic transmission will be offered as standard options. The new Audi R8 Spyder version rated at the output of 532bhp power and the torque of 540Nm.

New R8 Spyder is capable of hitting the acceleration speed 0-100 km/h (0-62mph) in just 3.5 seconds and thereby reached the top speed at 197 mph (316 km/h). 

The other new model, Sports Plus Pack will come with the most responsive features like magnetic ride adaptive damping, dynamic steering and the different shaped exhaust system with the black colored tailpipes, despite the standard chrome pipes.

Bang & Olufsen Sound System is available as an optional feature with the two loudspeakers, which are arranged in the headrests of seats for better sound quality. There are no heavy changes and almost the Spyder version’s look, specification and features similar to the R8 coupe version.

Mahindra Develops Left Hand Drive Variant of KUV 100



With the report from Economic Times, the biggest utility vehicle maker has been developed the LHD (Left Hand Drive) variant of the KUV 100 compact vehicle. This new variant is specially developed for Hungary, one of the Mahindra’s export markets. Most of the Mahindra’s new products have the higher demand and sales in the export markets so that it is decided to increase its share in the exports by introducing the variety of versions of the existed models.

Mahindra has already started the export of the KUV 100, compact sport utility vehicle, to the South African and other markets. In May, Mahindra exported 260 units of the Sub-4metre SUV (KUV 100).  The LHD version has been developed in both fuel options, diesel and gasoline, based on the Hungarian market demands. The exports of the KUV 100 LHD will start soon, said by the development team to the ET Auto.

                                          

The UV carmaker has set a goal to export 20,000 units of Kool Utility Vehicle to both Hungary and South Africa market, according to the sources. For the South African market, the equipment kit of the KUV 100 will be exported from India and the vehicles to be assembled at the Mahindra’s assembly plant in South Africa. While the KUV 100 models will go to Hungary via the CBU (Completely Built Units) route.

The biggest UV maker is also exporting its best-selling SUV XUV 500 to South Africa and it is available there in both fuel variants as well as automatic versions. With the launch of the new product’s line, TUV 300, NuvoSport and KUV 100, Mahindra has seen the major change in terms of sales. As per the Mahindra sales reports, the exports of passenger vehicles accounted for 137 percent growth in the first quarter of this fiscal, compared to the year-ago period.

With the introduction of LHD variant of the KUV 100 in Hungary, the export sales expected to be increased up to the certain extent than the present statistics.

Volkswagen becomes top carmaker in the world in H1 of 2016

                                     

The Volkswagen Group has emerged as the top carmaker in the world in the first half of 2016. As per the reports, the company has manufactured the most number of cars than Toyota and General Motors, despite the diesel emission scandal. The German based car manufacturer emerges as not only the largest producer but also the largest seller in the H1 of 2016. In the first six months, Volkswagen has produced 5,268,000 cars, whereas the Toyota Group has manufactured 5,033,177 cars and the reports of General Motors is yet to be announced.

The sales of the Volkswagen Group were high in the first half of 2016. Volkswagen sold 5,199,000 cars across its brand, whereas General Motors reported the total sales of 4,760,000 units and the Toyota Group, including Toyota, Daihatsu, Lexus and Hino, sold 4,991,741 units in the first six months.
                                     
Volkswagen picks up again in the first half of this year, even though it’s operating profit has registered a substantial dip to £ 5.3 billion (around Rs. 46,864 crore) in the H1 of 2016 from £ 6.8 billion (around Rs. 60,127 crore) in the same period of 2015.  Volkswagen’s production is down by 0.6 percent in the H1 of 2016, compared to the production in the same year-ago period. There is a slight difference of 46,000 cars and this figure changed slightly when car production in H1 of 2015 is taken into account.

The sales of Volkswagen were increased by 2.1 percent and registered extra 109,000 cars than the sales in the H1 of 2016. It’s rival, Toyota’s production increased by 0.4 percent as well as sales drop by 0.6 percent in the first six months of this year. 

The sales of Volkswagen Group brands, Skoda and Audi, have slipped due to the emission scandal in July 2016, as per the UK Customer Service Index report. Apart from this, the company plans to introduce the highest amount of electric cars in the coming years.

Maruti Suzuki postponed Ignis launch owing to Baleno and Brezza demand

                                    

Economic Times reported that the largest Indian car manufacturer, Maruti Suzuki has postponed the launch of its upcoming car, Maruti Ignis in the Indian market due to meet the demands of Baleno and Vitara Brezza. As per the reports, the launch of Ignis small crossover suspended by three to six months as both models together received 1 lakh bookings in India. The Ignis car will launch in 2017 instead of introducing in the festival period. Familiar with the reports, the upcoming crossover has scheduled to start its production in the last week of September 2016 as well as introduce in the last week of November 2016.
                                     

Before launching the new product (car), the carmaker has decided to clear the pending booking orders of the Vitara Brezza and Baleno by increasing the production capacity. That’s why the company has taken this decision on the Ignis launch. If launched, the new crossover is expected to be accounted for 60,000 to 80,000 units in a year. This is respectable for the company even though, Maruti Suzuki has that much of the production capacity at the manufacturing units, according to vendors of MSIL.

The Baleno premium hatchback has been launched in the end of October 2015 and the Vitara Brezza is available in India from March 2016. Baleno is playing a significant role in the premium hatchback segment and accounted for more than 1lakh sales along with the S-Cross in the one year period of Nexa Network. In the report, they didn’t discuss the launch of Baleno RS, showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo with the performance oriented 1.0-litre BoosterJet engine.
                                   
Being a first compact SUV (high demandable segment in the country) from the biggest Indian carmaker, the Vitara Brezza has received the waiting period of six to nine months based on the model version and location. In addition, the fire accident at the Subros, service provider of Maruti Suzuki, influenced the company’s production in India.

Maruti Suzuki to launch S-Cross facelift in 2017

                                  

With the reports from Motor Octane, the Maruti S-Cross facelift is expected to be launched in the country in 2017. But, the S-Cross facelift has already reached to the European market. The crossover facelift comes with the several major upgrades in terms of design, interior and exterior equipment. The overall look of the S-Cross facelift is equivalent to the existing model but, it comes with the special effects to reach all kinds of customers in the global market. There is a difference between the Indian-specific and export-specific models, especially in the mechanical equipment.

The S-Cross is the first premium crossover from Maruti Suzuki and it has been launched in 2015 in the Indian market. The same model manufactured in India was exported to the other countries, but the model didn’t meet the company’s expectation in the domestic as well as global markets. As for that reason, Maruti Suzuki has committed to introduce the crossover facelift in the country as soon as possible.
                                   

Being a premium product, the S-Cross crossover is available through the NEXA network, which has the premium dealerships introduced in the last year. The network has sold more than 1 lakh units of both premium cars, Baleno and S-Cross, in its one year period.

The crossover has been spied with the partially covered body for several times for the overall testing. Moreover, the sketched model and the images of the S-Cross facelift is available on the Internet and indicated that the S-Cross facelift comes with the new front fascia and stylish front grille with the vertical slat. The car front look is different from the Suzuki products with the new headlamp and grille design. This is the first time, the S-Cross has disclosed with the vertical slats grille.
                                    
For India, the S-Cross will continue the same 1.3-litre and 1.6-litre diesel engines and the petrol variants to be offered with the 1.4-litre petrol engine. The transmission options will be offered in the S-Cross crossover, standard 5-speed manual and automatic gearboxes. The export-specific model will be featured the new BoosterJet engine. Mahindra Introduced Two New Features in XUV 500 Automatic


Mahindra XUV 500 is the best and popular SUV from the domestic utility vehicle manufacturer and now introduced with the two additional features. The top end variant, W10 automatic comes with the start & stop push button system and passive keyless entry. The two features won’t be offered in the W8 automatic variant of the Mahindra XUV 500. The two features already available in the W10 manual variant of the best-selling SUV, XUV 500, but these were not included in the automatic versions launched in the last year. The remaining equipment and all features continued in the automatic variants.

Currently, the automatic variants available with the two engine options, the 2.2-litre mHawk and 1.99-litre mHawk diesel engines in India. The 2.2-litre engine has the capacity to generate the output of 140bhp power and 330Nm torque whereas the downsized engine is estimated at the same power output (140bhp) and the torque of 320Nm. The XUV 500 automatic with the downsized engines only available in the Delhi and NCR regions. All kinds of automatic versions offered with the 6-speed Aisin automatic gearbox.

                             
The XUV 500 automatic versions available with the highest range of features like the multi-function steering wheel, projector headlamps, the feature-rich infotainment system with the 7-inch touchscreen, and daytime running lights. Moreover, the popular SUV has safety systems, 6 airbags, hill-hold and hill-descent control, electric sunroof, electronic brake distribution system and anti-lock braking system.

No additional charges applicable for two new features and the XUV 500 automatic priced at around Rs. 17.08 on the FWD variant and Rs. 18.17lakh on the AWD variant in ex-showroom of Mumbai.

Maruti Suzuki Launched Super Carry LCV in India at Rs. 4.01Lakhs



Maruti Suzuki has launched its new commercial pick up, the Maruti Super Carry, in the Indian market and it is offered only in a diesel variant. It is now available in only three cities, Kolkata, Ludhiana and Ahmedabad and priced at Rs. 4.01 Lakhs, Rs. 4.11 Lakhs and Rs. 4.03 Lakhs (ex-showroom) respectively. The Maruti Super Carry is made in India and comes with the 750kg payload capacity. The commercial pickup measures the length of 3.8 metres, the width of 1.56 meters and its load deck offered with the measurements of 2.18 x 1.49 metres. The Super Carry has 175mm ground clearance and 8.6 metres diameter turning cycle.

Super Carry Commercial Pick Up Specifications:

The commercial pick receives the Maruti Suzuki Celerio’s 793c 2-cylinder diesel engine, which is evaluated at the maximum power of 24KW (32hp) at 3500 rpm and the torque of 75 Nm at 2000 rpm. Like the Maruti Suzuki cars, the LCV comes with the 5-speed manual gearbox and the suspension system of independent MacPherson struts and the front coil springs. The new Maruti Pick up has capable of return fuel economy of 22.07kmpl with the 80kmph top speed.
Coming to the LCV features, it comes with the dual assist grip, mobile charging socket, fuel metre, odometer, trip meter, digital clock, sliding back window glass, integrated rain guard, spare wheel and provision for a stereo.
                                     
Super Carry in South Africa:

The Indian-specific pick up has already introduced in the South African market at the price of 129,900 Rand (Rs. 5.58lakhs). In South Africa, It is only available in the petrol variant, which offers with the pair of a 1.2-litre GB14 4-cylinder engine and 5-speed box. The petrol motor has an ability to generate 72hp of power at 6,000 rpm and 101Nm torque at 3,000 rpm.

The Super Carry is the entry level model in the company’s commercial vehicle segment and introduced for the first time in South Africa. Maruti Suzuki has invested a total of Rs. 300 crore for designing and developing the product. It comes with the main key factors, power and strength and the highest level of carrying capacity. The company expected that the Super Carry will enhance the customer’s profitability, according to RS Kalsi, ED (Marketing & Sales) of Maruti Suzuki. The Super Carry will compete with the Tata Ace, best-selling light commercial vehicle (pickup) in India.

Porsche plans to expand network in the Indian market

Porsche India imports its range of all models, but it is to launch at least two models, apart from 911 range models, by the end of this year.  The company has already started the bookings of Porsche 718 Cayman and 718 Boxster before their introduction in India, with the ex-showroom (Mumbai) price tags of Rs. 83.95 lakh and Rs. 83.95lakh respectively. Both cars will be launched soon and the deliveries to be commenced from November 2016.

Audi to Introduce Three Electric Vehicles by 2020


Audi, the German based carmaker has announced that the company plans to launch all-new three electric vehicles in the global market by the end of 2020, according to the report from car and bike news. Globally, most of the manufacturers are working on the electric vehicles as the future of the automobile is totally depends on the electric cars. Some of the luxury carmakers have already set up their new strategies for electrical vehicles. Based on the reports, the BMW has the limited number of i8 plug-in hybrid system and the I3. Similarly, Mercedes-Benz is planning to introduce the four new electric vehicles, two SUVs and two sedans, by the end of this decade.

Currently, Audi is thinking to introduce at least three electric cars by putting a different strategy, but some of the reports recommended that Audi has already a new strategic plan. Besides, Rupert Stadler, CEO of Audi, confirmed that the electrical vehicles will commit for around 25 to 30 percent of Audi’s total sales by the end of 2025.  
                              

Moreover, the carmaker plans to set up a new subsidiary to work on self-driving vehicles and invest in autonomous driving technologies and digital services, according to Stadler. Along with the electric cars, the company will concentrate on developing the autonomous cars (robot cars) for the urban customers.

We expected that Audi will simplify the introduction of regular cars as to concentrate on electric platforms in the global market. Audi is good at the fuel car’s technology and now, the company will look for the best road map to introduce the electric cars globally, according to Audi. Audi India Imported Q7 Petrol to India for Testing


Audi has imported the petrol version of its popular SUV, Audi Q7 for testing as the luxury carmaker is planning to introduce the Q7 petrol versions soon in India. The imported model comes with the 2.0-litre TFSI engine, but it will not be permitted in Delhi and NCR as of the Supreme Court’s order, registration ban on more than 2000cc diesel vehicles. So that, the company is working on the Audi Q7 to address the SC’s order.

In late 2015, the luxury carmaker launched the updated versions of the popular SUV, Q7 in the Indian market. The coming model will get the luxurious cabin, bolder style and the new features. The upcoming one has some similar views of the existed model, while the new one gets the additional design elements and features.

The current selling Audi Q7 model is only available with the single diesel engine option of the 3.0-litre TDI with the output capacity of 245bhp and 600Nm at 1500rpm. It comes with the Audi Quattro AWD system, which distributes power to all wheels and the automatic gearbox of 8-speed Tiptronic.

The diesel versions of the updated Audi Q7 model have more demand in the Indian market so that the company expected that the petrol versions will have the similar response from the customers. The Audi Q7 petrol with the 2.0-litre TFSI has already launched in some of the Asian markets. Audi will most probably introduce the Audi Q7 petrol with the downsized engine and the same automatic gearbox used in diesel variant. 

Currently, the Audi Q7 is priced at around Rs. 73.97lakh (On Road Price, Hyderabad) and available with three variants, TDI Quattro Premium, TDI Quattro Premium Plus and TDI Quattro Technology Pack. Here is no confirmation from Audi, but the upcoming Q7 petrol is expected to be introduced by the end of this year.

Volkswagen India Started Deliveries of Ameo Compact Sedan


Volkswagen India has commenced the deliveries of the first new sub-4 meter sedan (compact sedan), Ameo in the Indian market. In present period, the petrol versions of VW Ameo are available in different colours, but the Ameo diesel versions expected to be launched in the festival season, from August to November. The Ameo was launched in the last month, while the deliveries started from 26th July 2016.

The VW Ameo is made in India based on the platform of Volkswagen Polo, one of the best-selling hatchbacks in India. Moreover, it receives the standard equipment from the best-in-class Volkswagen India models, Vento sedan and Polo. All variants of the compact sedan get the dual airbags at the front side and Anti-lock braking system as standard features. The higher variant, Highline comes with the alloy wheels, automatic wipers, cornering lights, MirrorLink with touchscreen, automatic dimming rear view mirror, steering mounted controls, power folding mirrors, cruise control, Bluetooth support and rear parking camera.

                                       

The petrol versions powered by the 1.2-litre 3-cylinder MPI engine, which is capable of generating the maximum output of 75PS and 110Nm. The standard 5-speed manual gearbox is paired with the engine and with all these, the car is rated at 17.83kmpl, ARAI certified mileage.

The Ameo diesel expected to be offered with the 1.5-litre 4-cylinder TDI engine, which is turbocharged one and likely to be rated at the 108PS of power. The diesel engine will be offered with the two gearbox options, 7-speed DSG and 5-speed manual, according to the report from Volkswagen India.

In addition, the company offered the excellent service packages, including best-in-class facilities, for Ameo buyers, Volkswagen Care and Volkswagen Care Plus. Consequently, the customers will benefit from the 3 or 4 year warranty, 24x7 support, road assistance, as well based on the package.
The sub 4-meter sedan, Volkswagen Ameo has priced Rs. 5.04lakhs to Rs. 7.05lakhs in ex-showroom of New Delhi. The Ameo sedan will compete with the Honda Amaze, Maruti Swift Dzire, Hyundai Xcent, Tata Zest and Figo Aspire.

5 things to know about upcoming Indian-specific Audi Q2


Audi, the luxury carmaker, introduced the highest amount of luxury cars in the Indian market and now, it plans to introduce a variety of models to increase the range of Audi. The smallest Indian-specific Audi Q2 is readying to launch in India, but the particular introduction time is not revealed by the company. Around 5 months back, the Audi Q2 is the smallest SUV has made its introduction at the 2016 Geneva motor show in March 2016. Hers is the list of things to know about Indian-specific Audi Q2, which will be moved as the most affordable premium car in the country.

Small SUV – Audi Q2:

Being the small SUV, the upcoming Q2 measures 4,191mm of length, 1,508mm of height and 2,009mm of width. It is lightweight at more than 1,205kgs in Audi’s line-up models.

New Design – MQB Platform:  

The upcoming Audi Q2 is designed based on the Audi A3, which is offered by the MQB platform. Moreover, the new SUV will get the next generation design as compared to the existed SUVs like the Audi Q3 and Audi Q5. For the Indian market, the Q2 comes with the two engine options, 1.4-litre TFSI petrol and 2.0-litre TDI diesel. Besides, there is a chance to get the 2.0-litre TDI engine and the gearbox options, including the manual and dual-clutch automatic.

Aimed to target luxury cars in small range:

The Q2 is the entry level model from Audi in the small SUV luxury car segment. With the compact SUV design, the Q2 will target the existed luxury cars like BMW 1-series and Mercedes A-Class. It features the Audi technical-based systems so that it will cost around RS. 25 to 30lakhs (Ex-showroom).

Maruti Suzuki exported 4204 units of Baleno and Alto in June



The list of top 10 exported passenger vehicles, announced by SIAM, there are no Indian carmaker’s products placed in the first five positions of the corresponding list in June 2016. In the last month, Maruti Suzuki exported 1,989 units of the Alto cars from India and positioned 10th place in the list. Being a small car, the Alto model has seen a major drop in the last month, compared to the year-ago period (June 2015). Besides, the Alto small car has been achieved top one position with the exports of 6,420units.

The Indian carmaker launched the first model, Baleno in the premium hatchback segment. It has made in India for the global market and already exported to the global markets like New Zealand, Australia and the USA. The Indo-Japanese company exported 2,215 units of Baleno petrol versions to the global markets. The Baleno has more demand not only in the global market, but also in the domestic market so that it receives a limited waiting period.

The first three positions in the list of top 10 exported cars are highlighted by the Micra, Ford EcoSport and Volkswagen Vento. The reports indicated that the EcoSport exports increased to 6,253 units in the last month from 2,690 units in the same period of the previous year with the introduction of the modified versions.

                                     

Hyundai, the largest car exporter in India, occupies 4th, 5th and 7th positions with the Creta, Grand i10 and Xcent models respectively. Hyundai has already stopped the production as well as exports of its mid-sized sedan, Accent, which has received the 2nd position with 3,631 units in the list of top 10 export cars in June 2015. Consequently, it has missed from the list. The Grand i10 exports were increased to 4,281 units from 3,276 units along with the Xcent.

Volkswagen India Exported 5776 Units of Vento in June 2016


Volkswagen India has been exported 5,776 units of the Indian-specific Vento, sold as Polo Sedan in the global markets, in June 2016. With the sedan structure, the Volkswagen Vento has achieved the greatest demand in the international markets, especially in the Mexican market. Till now, the German based carmaker has exported more than 1lakh units of Vento models to Mexico.

Vento is one of the top ten exported cars in the last month, whereas the Polo positioned 8th place in the year-ago month with exports of 1,778 units. The sedan versions have received good ratings, in terms of adult and child safety, in the crash test. Elaborately, the Volkswagen Vento has been attended the ASEAN NCAP in May 2016 and received 4-star rating on the base variant with the ABS and airbags. The Vento TSI model scored 5-star rating with the extra feature of ESC (Electronic Stability Control) in the crash test.

The diesel variants of VolkswagenVento comes with the 1.5L TDI diesel engine, which is rated at the output of 105 PS power and 250Nm of torque, with fuel-efficiency of 21.21kmpl.  The Vento petrol versions offered with the 1598cc (1.6-ltre) engine, which returns the ARAI certified mileage of 15.04kmpl with 103bhp of maximum power at 5250 RPM and 153NM of maximum torque at 3800 RPM.
                                       
The Vento automatic versions available with the 1197cc TSI petrol engine with the output of 103bhp and 153 Nm at the maximum speed range. The TSI  is the turbocharged engine that is paired to the 7-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox. Coming to the design, the Vento TSI comes with the alloy wheels, excellent road handling, greater suspensions and dual-beam headlamps.

With the wide range of features, the Vento becomes as the third most exported car from the Indian market in the last month. The next-generation Polo hatchback and Vento models expected to be offered with the new generation engines and the additional features.

Ashok Leyland Q1 Net Profit Increased 101 Percent


The Indian biggest commercial vehicle leader, Ashok Leyland has announced its Q1 sales reports and reported that its net profit increased to Rs. 290.78 crore in the period of April to June. It represented a growth of 101 percent compared to the year ago quarter net profit, Rs. 144.5 crore. The revenue in the first quarter of FY 2017 stood at Rs 4258.8 crore and increased by 10 percent against the revenue in the Q1 of FY 16, 3883.13 crores.

The M&HCV (medium and commercial vehicle) segment, including trucks, buses, 6-tonne vehicles, and tippers, has achieved total sales of 22,061 units in the first quarter ended on June 30, 2016. It was the record braking achievement from Ashok Leyland. Just a few days back, the company received orders of around 3600 buses from the various STUs and the deliveries to be commenced during the year.

Similarly, the light commercialvehicle segment reported 7 percent growth in the first quarter against previous year results. Domestic sales were good in the first quarter, but the export market is down so that Ashok Leyland reported 18.5 percent domestic volume growth than the 14.5 percent industry growth, according to the company’s managing director, Vinod K Dasari. The company will continue the operational efficiency, network development, launch of new products and talent development to achieve the best results. We at the company expected the positive export market will be back in the second quarter, according to him.

Indian-specific new Audi A4 launches in August 2016


The luxury carmaker, Audi to launch the new Audi A4 in the Indian market in the next coming festival period, especially in August 2016. The new Audi A4 will enter the mid-size luxury sedan segment and feature the wide range of specifications than its predecessor. Previously, the new Audi A4 has been showcased for the first time in India at the Delhi motor show (2016 Auto Expo).  The same model has been introduced in the international markets in the mid months of 2015.

MLB Platform:

Being a new generation model, the Audi A4 comes with the Volkswagen’s (German carmaker) MLB platform, which is made of a combination of two metals, aluminium and steel. The MLB platform influences the car to have the lightweight construction, as a result, the performance of the car will be increased than the existed A4 versions. According to the reports, the new Audi A4 reduces its weight by 120kgs than the current selling models and lither than the closest rivals, BMW 3-series, new Jaguar XE, and Mercedes C-class.

Audi Virtual Cockpit:

The mid-sized sedan features the Audi Virtual Cockpit with the massive HD screen, which replaces the instrument cluster used in the existed Audi A4. The high definition screen displays the infotainment and car information, navigation map and the speedometer and tachometer values. The other information is to be displayed on the regular 7.0-inch touchscreen display.

2.0-litre Diesel Engine:

The next-gen Audi A4 will be powered by the 2.0-litre diesel engine, which would have the capacity to generate the highest power of 190hp. The high performance-based motor is to be mated to the 6-speed manual transmission in the base models and the S-Tronic 7-speed dual clutch in the high-end versions. There is reported that the Volkswagen Group’s engine will be assembled in the Indian market from the next year.

Audi will consider the petrol variants with the three engine options of a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol (150hp), 2.0-litre turbo-petrol (190bhp) and 3.0-litre V6 turbo-diesel (272hp). No confirmation from Audi, but there are more chances to introduce petrol versions.
                            

Advanced Features:

The new Audi A4 will be available with the long list of features to increase the brand range in the luxury car segment. The entry level trims of the Audi A4 will be loaded with the regular features, while the top-end variants will offer with the Audi Virtual Cockpit, Matrix LED lights and an MMI infotainment system with the Apple CarPlay and Android compatibility. Besides, the new Audi A4 comes with the three-zone automatic climate control, wireless phone charging, driving modes like Drive Select, ambient lighting, as well.

Competitive Price:

The new Audi A4 will be priced at around Rs. 40lakhs on the base versions, whereas the existing Audi A4 costs Rs. 35.54 to Rs. 42.34lakhs based upon the variants.
