The Japanese carmaker, Suzuki has
started the production of S-Cross facelift, which is likely to be debuted at
the upcoming 2016 motor show in Paris. The prototype design model of the
S-Cross facelift has been leaked at the time of dealer presentation held a few
months ago in France. The latest images of the S-Cross facelift indicated that
the crossover features the same stylish design shown in the leaked computer-generated
representation.
The updated crossover is expected
to be featured new projector headlamps, restructured bumper, the larger radiator
grille and vertical slats on the all-new upright grille. Additionally, the
S-Cross interior features the number of changes, including updated instrument
cluster, new seat upholstery with the different colored stitching, latest
interior layouts with the different color combinations. Along with these, the upcoming
Suzuki S-Cross crossover will get technology-based additional equipment to
increase its demand in the worldwide automotive market.
The existed global-standard
S-Cross is offered with the 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engine options, but the
updated model is expected to get the 1.4-litre BoosterJet engine seen in the
global-specific Vitara. In the Indian market, the updated model will be
continued with the 1.3-litre and 1.6-litre diesel motors available in the
existed S-Cross crossover. There is no confirmation at all from the carmaker but,
the fresh reports suggested that the petrol versions of the S-Cross will be
offered in India.
Launched in the last festival
season, the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross has given the tough competition to the Hyundai
Creta in the starting months. Later, the sales of crossover were down in the market
as of the introduction of the same kind of segment models like Mahindra TUV 300
and Renault Duster.
