Maruti Suzuki launched Swift DLX limited edition in India


The Indian carmaker has been introduced the limited edition of its best-selling Swift hatchback in India at the affordable price of Rs. 4.54lakh. Maruti Suzuki has given the modifications to the existing basic versions of the Swift hatchback to boost the product range as well as sales. The limited edition termed as the Maruti Suzuki Swift DLX and updated based on the LXi and LDi lower variants.

What’s new in Swift DLX?

The limited edition comes with the outside door mirrors and body-colored handles for sporty appearance than the regular ones. Black colored sash tape featured by the B-pillars for an attractive exterior. All these features offered in the middle and top end variants of the current Maruti Suzuki Swift, one of the top-selling passenger cars.

Coming to the inside features, the Swift DLX comes with the 2-DIN music system with Bluetooth connectivity. To provide the better sound system, the Swift limited edition offered with the two front speakers initiated at the doors. The instrument panel features the MID (Multi Information Display) to provide the information like average fuel economy, date, time, as well.

The Swift DLX gets the four power windows, which is offered in VXi and VDi mid versions of Swift hatchback. Additionally, the car comes with the central locking and foglights to increase the package list of the basic versions.

Swift DLX Price:

Before the festival period, the country’s largest carmaker has started the introduction of limited editions to increase its market performance in the automotive (car) industry. The two Swift limited editions, Swift DLX petrol and Swift DLX diesel priced Rs. 4.54lakh and Rs. 5.95lakh respectively.

Swift DLX Specifications:

Mechanically, there are no changes offered in the new Swift limited editions. The petrol car powered by the 1.2-litre 4-cylinder engine, which is estimated at the 84bhp and 114Nm output, while the diesel edition comes with the 1.3-litre DDiS diesel with the output capacity of 74bhp and 190Nm torque.

Apart from this, the company is working on the next-generation Swift, which has been spied for overall testing in the different areas. According to the fresh news, the future generation Swift model will be launched in October 2016 in the international market. Moreover, the same model will come to the Indian market in 2017. The next-gen Swift is expected to be longer, wider and lower than the outgoing model and manufactured at Gujarat facility.
