Maruti Suzuki has its presence in
the segments of passenger vehicles, mini, super compact, compact, mid-sized
sedan, as well and become the segment leader in India with the introduction of the
best models. Vitara Brezza is the first compact SUV introduced by Maruti Suzuki
to target the models of the segment leaders. Being a first sub-4metre utility
vehicle, the Vitara Brezza gets more booking orders from the self-improving
customers than the company expected. The latest report from the market is the
new compact SUV has been received 95,000 booking orders from its launch in
March 2016. But, till the date, Maruti Suzuki has delivered more than 27,000
units.
The demand for the new Maruti car
is increasing exponentially in the market, as a result, it receives 8 to 9 months
of waiting period based upon the types of versions. That’s why, the Indian
carmaker plans to increase the production rate of Vitara Brezza, which is
offered in diesel versions and priced Rs. 6.99 to Rs. 9.68lakh in ex-showroom
of New Delhi. From this month, the production of the sub-4metre SUV will
increase to 10,000units per month, according to the latest news.
The Vitara Brezza contributed to
the sales growth of 260.4 percent in company’s range of UVs in May 2016
compared to the year-ago month. With the association of Baleno, the Brezza
accounted for a total of 15% in overall sales in May and becomes as best-selling
SUV in India.
