The German based car company, Volkswagen
India announced its total sales report of the last month and reported the
marginal drop of 0.4 percent to 4,022 units. Volkswagen has sold a total of
4,039 units in the year-ago period. With the introduction of the special
models, Polo Select and Vento Celeste, the company has witnessed for the steady
sales performance in the Indian car market.
The best Volkswagen models like
Polo hatchback, Vento sedan and Jetta influenced the car maker to get the
maximum sales in June 2016. The brand has been introduced the Indian-specific
VW Ameo in the compact sedan segment and it is offered by the attractive design
and good looking body layout. Ameo is available in good looking colors at the
Volkswagen dealerships at the reasonable prices. Additionally, the customers
will book the vehicle via the Ameo mobile application specially launched by the
carmaker to promote the business in a quick manner.
The Ameo has been receiving more
booking orders from the Indian customers with its Polo based platform and attractive
Indian-made design quality. Volkswagen has not yet revealed the number of
booking orders, but the deliveries of the model will be started from this
month.
Volkswagen Upcoming Car Models:
To entirely overcome the disaster
of the defeat diesel engine, the company is planning to introduce the Indian
range models with the newly designed engines. Moreover, the Volkswagen Tiguan is
to be launched in the market soon to target the existing sport utility
vehicles. The SUV has been scored 5-star safety rating in the Euro NCAP crash test.

The company is planning to offer
the different kinds of models to increase its product range in the Indian market.
The performance based version of the Polo hatchback, best-selling model, is
likely to be introduced by the end of this year.
