Porsche plans to expand network in the Indian market


The German based car manufacturer, Porsche plans to expand its network in India, by introducing the most number of cars.  The number of millionaires and economic indicators is increasing in the Indian market so that Porsche, the luxury carmaker thinks to take a decision to expand the network. With the introduction of new generation cars, the desirability of the luxury car enthusiasts is to be increased and the company will good awareness in the luxury car market.

Pavan Shetty, newly appointed director of Porsche India, will concentrate on the company’s priorities and product pipeline in the country. After the completion of total monitoring, including market situation, business opportunities, service facilities, as well, Porsche to launch global standard models in the country

Very recently, the luxury carmaker has introduced updated models of 911 S in India on June 29 and all versions get the advanced equipment with the state-of-the-art design.

In the part of the total process, we at Porsche has decided to increase our representation to reach the customers in the country, according to Pavan Shetty. Moreover, the company will increase dealerships in the next months and also service facilities. Porsche will open dealerships in Hyderabad and Chennai with the excellent service benefits, revealed by Shetty.

The luxury car market is good in India so that the company decided to improve the network. In 2015, the segment of luxury vehicles is reported at 35,300 units and the number is expected to be increased to 87,300 units by 2020, according to the automotive sales reports. Currently, Porsche has six dealerships and best-in-class service centres in major cities, Kolkata, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Gurgaon, Mumbai and Kochi.

                                 
Latest Products from Porsche:

Porsche India imports its range of all models, but it is to launch at least two models, apart from 911 range models, by the end of this year.  The company has already started the bookings of Porsche 718 Cayman and 718 Boxster before their introduction in India, with the ex-showroom (Mumbai) price tags of Rs. 83.95 lakh and Rs. 83.95lakh respectively. Both cars will be launched soon and the deliveries to be commenced from November 2016.
