Porsche Launched Cayenne Platinum Edition in India at Rs. 1.06 Crore

Porsche, the German automobile manufacturer, has been launched the platinum edition of Cayenne in the Indian market at the starting price of Rs. 1.06 Crore. The Cayenne Platinum edition available in petrol and diesel versions with the extra special features for a different look in the market. Not all the models, the selected versions of Porsche Cayenne will get the Platinum Edition badge and this offer will be applied to the certain limit. The petrol version of Cayenne Platinum priced at Rs. 1.06 crore in ex-showroom Maharashtra whereas the diesel version priced at Rs. 1.08 crore.

Being a special edition, the Cayenne Platinum gets the special treatment and a few of design touches for the different appearance. There are no changes in terms of dimensions, but the luxury car features wider wheel arches, large 20-inch wheels, electrically adjusted (8-way) leather sport seats, headrests with Porsche crest and Alcantara centre panels.

The tech-based systems, PCM (Porsche Communication Management) system with the premium seven-inch touchscreen system, BOSE Surround Sound system, Navigation support, Apple CarPlay, stylish analogue clock, as well. Along with this, the standard equipment like bi-xenon headlights with the PDLS (Porsche Dynamic Light System), front and rear park assistance system and power steering plus.

In addition, the special platinum edition will feature the automatic anti-glare rear-view and exterior mirrors, panoramic sunroof, adaptive air suspension like PASM – Porsche Active Suspension Management, side windows with electrical sun blinds, four-zone automatic climate control, phone integration , as well.

Porsche Cayenne Platinum Colors:

·      Non-metallic black or white

·      Rhodium Silver Metallic

·      Jet Black Metallic  

·      Carrera White Metallic

·         Mahogany Metallic

Above mentioned ones are the standard colors but, the Purpurite Metallic offered as an optional color. The biggest advantage is the wider wheel arches to be garnished with the selected exterior color.

Porsche Cayenne Platinum Engines:

The petrol versions of Cayenne Platinum come with the 3.6-litre V6 engine rated at 300bhp of power while the diesel versions powered by 3.0-litre V6 that is capable of generating 245hp of maximum power. All four-wheel drive and eight-speed automatic transmission systems give an extra boost to the car.

According to Pavan Shetty, Director of Porsche India, the company launched the Cayenne Platinum with the essential selected materials for a great appearance. It is a thrilling four-door sports car offered with the truly premium features along with the standard equipment to increase the eye-catching value.

The bookings for Platinum Edition opened in the Indian market, but the deliveries to be started from the next month, August 2016.
