2017 Audi Q5 and 2017 Audi A5 Sportback models spied in Mumbai

                                   
The test models of 2017 Audi Q5 and 2017 Audi A5 Sportback have been spied with the totally covered exterior in Mumbai before the global debut. The second generation model, 2017 Audi Q5 has already confirmed for the European markets and expected to be introduced in this year. As per the reports, the 2017 Audi Q5 will most probably debut at the upcoming Paris Motor Show, which will open the entry doors on 30th September 2016.

The second-gen Audi A5 Coupe, which was premiered in June 2016, will likely to hit the market by the end of 2016. The 2017 A5 Sportback is mostly similar to its redesigned cousin A5 Coupe. Both models will be structured based on the MLB Evo platform.
2017 Audi Q5:
By observing the images, the second generation car will not get the surprised design, style and dimensions. Coming to the mechanical specifications, the Audi Q5 will be offered with the different fuel types of engines (TFSI and TDI with the displacements ranging from 1.4-litre to 3.0-litre).
For both North America and China markets, the Q5 e-tron hybrid will be offered in petrol and electric combinations, whereas the European markets will have diesel and electric combination. Besides, the performance based versions (RS and S) will be offered by the luxury carmaker.
2017 Audi A5 Sportback:
With the company’s new platform, the Audi A5 Coupe has reduced its weight by 60kgs than the earlier generation model so that the Audi A5 Sportback will also have a similar weight reduction. Whatever the engines offered in the 2017 Audi A5 Coupe will be offered in the Audi A5 Sportback. Two TFSI and three TDI engines ranging from 190PS to 286PS. The all-wheel drive system (Quattro) will be featured on the same engine models, which should be paired with three types of transmissions (6-speed manual, 7-speed S Tronic and the 8-speed Tiptronic.
The same MLB Evo platform will also be underpinned in the latest Audi A4 and Audi Q7 models.
