Mahindra Launched Sub-4m Bolero Power+ at Rs. 6.59 Lakhs

                                      

Mahindra, the utility vehicle manufacturer has been launched the new sub-4metre Mahindra Bolero in the Indian market at the opening price tag of Rs. 6.59 lakhs. The sub-4metre Bolero is introduced as the Mahindra Bolero Power+ and offered in three grades, SLE, SLX and ZLX. The higher variant Bolero Power+ ZLX costs Rs. 7.57 lakhs in ex-showroom Mumbai.
The Bolero Power+ is officially introduced as the powerful car than the existing Bolero SUV and powered by the 1.5-litre mHawk D70 turbocharged three-cylinder diesel engine. The powerful engine makes the sub-4metre Bolero 13 percent efficient than the regular one by generating the maximum outputs of 70bhp power at 3600rpm and 195Nm torque in the range of 1,400 to 2,200rpm. The rear wheel drivetrain and the 5-speed manual transmission offered as standard features in the Mahindra Bolero Plus.
The sub-4metre Mahindra SUV is expected to claim 5 percent more fuel-efficient than the regular Bolero with the package of the smaller engine and the Mahindra’s Micro Hybrid system is christened as auto start/stop. The new Mahindra compact SUV has the capacity to return an average mileage of ARAI certified 16.5kmpl. 
                                         
The production model has been spotted for testing several times in the market with the sub-4metre measurement and additional features. Being a sub-4metre one, it measures 3,995mm of length, 1745mm of width, 1880mm of height and comes with the wheelbase of 2680mm. Coming to the specification, it is offered with the engine immobilizer, voice messaging system, advanced music system, better seating arrangement, and new graphics on the body.
The Bolero Power+ continues the masculine bumpers, signature front grille, blue vision headlamps and the contemporary body decals for adding sporty and stylish looks. Coming to the technology, the Driver Information System (DIS), digital instrument cluster and the micro hybrid technology on the high-end variant.
The sub-4metre segment is more demand in the current market so that the company expected that the Mahindra SUV will increase the brand range in the market. Of course, the Bolero has been evaluated as the best SUV for almost 10 years (2005 to 2016) and now the Bolero Plus is the advanced model of the best-selling brand.
