Indian-specific Audi Q2 2.0 TDI Quattro showcased in China

                             
The German carmaker has showcased the Indian-specific Audi Q2 TDI Quattro crossover in China before its market launch in the country, according to the images from PCauto.com. The Audi Q2 crossover was debuted at the 2016 Motor Show in Geneva and the youngest Q series model is expected to launch in the Indian market later this year. The Q2 series model is the entry level luxury car in the Indian market and going to sale after its launch along with the Q series models, Audi Q3, Audi Q5 and Audi Q7.
The new crossover is designed based on the technical and advanced MQB platform, which is also offered in the variety of company models. As per the reports, the China specific Audi Q2 is to be available with the dimensions of 4,191mm length, 1,794mm width, 1,508mm height and the wheelbase of 2,601mm.
The Audi Q2 with the 1.4-litre TFSI petrol engine generates the outputs of 110kW or 147.45hp of power and the maximum torque of 250Nm. The 2.0-litre TDI is the diesel engine powers the Audi Q2 and mated to the 7-speed S tronic transmission.

In the German market, the luxury crossover is offered with the six engines ranging from 1.0-litre to 2.0-litre displacements. Besides, the gearbox choices including 6-speed manual and the 7-speed S tronic (dual-clutch) automatic transmission offered in the German-specific Audi Q2 along with the regular drivetrain. All-wheel Quattro drive system is offered in the certain models.
Let’s come to the specifications, the Audi Q2 is offered with the fully-digital 12.3-inch instrument cluster, Audi Virtual Cockpit, head-up display and the advanced infotainment system with the tech based MMI Navigation Plus and MMI touch. For the better sound system, the Audi Q2 is offered by the Bang & Olufsen sound system with 14 speakers.
The luxury car has received production in last July and manufactured at the Ingolstadt manufacturing plant in Germany. As per the rumours, the longer-wheel based version of Audi Q2 is being consider for the Chinese and Indian markets.
