The Porsche Macan Turbo S variant is now offered with the performance package and the model will be offered in an order of Rs. 6.97lakh (10,445 USD). This performance package will be available for the customers, who are looking for the higher power on the regular Turbo S variant. With this package, the turbo S model has increased its power by 40bhp and the torque by 49Nm. The Macan Turbo performance claims 440bhp of power and 600Nm of torque with the 3.6-litre V6 engine.
The new car has hit the acceleration speed of 0-100kmph in just about 4.2sec and 0.2sec faster than the current one. So that it reaches the top speed at 272kmph and represents an 8kmph increment than the regular one.
Along with the increment of power and torque, the car has offered with the sport exhaust system, new brakes and the lowered sports chassis. The larger grooved brake discs at the front side and the sporty red-colored six-position calliper covered under the performance package. The new model will sit 10mm lower than the current Macan Turbo model and also be offered with the PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) system, which includes an air suspension. This version is also available with the adaptive LED headlights, 21-inch wheels, as well.
Porsche India has not announced any official information about the package, but the model is expected to be released in India, according to the company’s badge (“to be announced”) on the website.
