Maruti Ignis spied on Delhi roads with black alloys


                                 
According to YouTube video, the Maruti Ignis has been spotted for the performance testing on the New Delhi roads with the black colored alloy wheels. The small crossover has announced for the Indian market at the 2016 Auto Expo and will reportedly launch in the festival month of November 2016. The carmaker will enter the new segment with the Ignis crossover and also rival with the existing smallest car, Mahindra KUV 100.
The Ignis has been already introduced in the Japanese market as Suzuki Ignis and the car measures the length of 3,700mm, width of 1,690mm, height of 2,435mm, wheelbase of 2435mm and the ground clearance of 180mm. In the company’s home market, Suzuki Ignis is available with the 4WD (four-wheel drive system), but it will not available in India. The Maruti Ignis is to be offered in the front-wheel drive layout model only for the domestic market.
                                      
Maruti Ignis will get the both petrol and diesel variants and feature the automated manual transmission of AGS is an option and the standard 5-speed MT. The diesel variants powered by the 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine, which is also offered in the currently selling Maruti Baleno, whereas the petrol variants offered by the regular 1.2-litre K-Series petrol motor.
The top-end variants of Maruti Ignis will feature the projector headlights, 15 or 16-inch alloy wheels, LED DRLs, SmartPlay entertainment system, steering mounted controls, digital MID and reverse camera.
Like the Maruti S-Cross crossover and Baleno, the upcoming car will be retailed via the company’s premium NEXA network. The Maruti Ignis will increase the sales growth of Maruti Suzuki in the Diwali month of November 2016 and set the trend in the entry-level segment.
