The auto manufacturers have introduced their sales reports of the last month and the reports indicated that the Vitara Brezza is the best-selling utility vehicle in August 2016. With the sales of 9,554 units, the compact SUV has achieved the first position in the last month. The second best-selling UV in the last month has obtained by the Hyundai Creta with the difference of 1,104 units. This Vitara Brezza helped the largest carmaker to register the highest growth of 142.7 percent in the last month in the company’s UV sales, as against August 2015 sales.
In this month, Maruti Suzuki’s sales in the utility vehicles segment have managed to meet the top Mahindra’s overall figures, but that hasn’t happened like in the last July month. The second best SUV, Hyundai Creta records 8,450 units, Toyota sold 8,229 units of the Innova Crysta and Ford EcoSport holds 5,248 units.
Being an entry level compact SUV, Vitara Brezza is gaining the highly respectable demand in the market from its launch in March 2016. Till the date, it is selling under the waiting period along with the Baleno, a premium global-specific hatchback from Maruti Suzuki.
The price of the compact SUV is affordable and increased by around Rs. 20,000 in the last month. Currently, the price range is Rs. 7.19Lakhs to Rs. 9.88Lakhs in New Delhi ex-showroom. Earlier, the compact SUV (diesel version) price is Rs. 6.99 to Rs. 9.68 lakhs. The petrol versions of this model are expected to be launched in the forthcoming festival season.
