Hyundai Motor recalls 7,657 Eon cars in India

The South Korean company, Hyundai Motor has recalled 7,657 Eon cars in India due to inspect the clutch cable fouling with the battery cable. The company has voluntarily recalled the Eon cars and the inspection of the car is free of cost at the company’s authorised centres.
The Hyundai Eon cars manufactured in the period of 1st January 2015 to 31st January 2015 are to be recalled by the carmaker. The respective customers will be attended the recalling process in a phased manner to inspect the clutch cable. If the cars found with the damaged battery cable then it is to be replaced with the new one.
The total inspection process will be held at the Hyundai Motor’s authorised service centres around the country. The customer’s responsibility is just handed over their cars to the Hyundai dealers for replacing the Battery Cable and the remaining process is to be finished by Hyundai Motor, which has a strong market in India.
The company further said that Hyundai will deliver the best service and provide a support network to its customers in the country. Besides, the carmaker will offer the quality of products for the Indian customers. Presently, around 9 to 10 Hyundai cars available in the Indian market, of which the Hyundai Elite i20 and Creta models have higher sales in the hatchback and compact SUV segments respectively.
