Volkswagen India has revealed that the India-specific Volkswagen Polo ALLSTAR on the company’s website, which shows the exterior and interior specifications of the hatchback. Like the Volkswagen Ameo, the Polo ALLSTAR is offered in the Blue Silk shade along with the other exterior colors, Toffee Brown, Flash Red, Reflex Silver and Candy White. The new model of the hatchback gets the 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and the B-Pillars with the ALLSTAR branding.
The interior of the Polo ALLSTAR comes with the new seat upholstery with the different colored stripes and the center armrest at the front side, which was also available in the outgoing Volkswagen Vento. Besides, the ALLSTAR branding on the aluminium pedals and scuff plates and AC vents borrowed from the Vento sedan are featured by the upcoming Polo ALLSTAR.
Discuss the mechanical specifications, the Polo ALLSTAR is to be available with the 1.5-litre TDI diesel and 1.2-litre petrol engines. The diesel engine to develop the maximum outputs of 90PS power and 230Nm torque while the petrol one has an ability to generate the power of 75PS and the torque of 110Nm. Both engines are mated to the 5-speed manual transmission.
Being a premium hatchback, it is introduced with the touchscreen infotainment system, which is an ability to mirroring your phone, auto-dimming IRVMs and automatic rain sensing wipers.
The Polo ALLSTAR to be offered on the Highline variants of the regular Polo so the new one comes with all features of the Polo Highline. The regular Polo 1.5 TDI Highline costs Rs. Rs. 8.5lakhs while the Polo 1.2MPI Highline (petrol) comes in at Rs. 7.02lakhs. The new Polo ALLSTAR is expected to be priced around Rs. 30,000 to 40,000 higher than the Polo Highline variants.
