Mahindra & Mahindra has launched the Supro van in electric variants at the price tag of Rs. 8.45 lakhs in ex-showroom of Delhi. The electric variant of the Supro van has been announced as the Mahindra e-Supro van, which is offered in two different variants, such as Cargo van and Passenger variant. The e-Supro Cargo costs Rs. 8.45 lakhs whereas the passenger variant is available at Rs. 8.75Lakhs.
The best and highlight point about the Mahindra e-Supro van is its electric drivetrain. It is offered with a single motor, which has the capacity to produce the 25kW power and 90Nm torque. The torque output is sent to the van wheels through the direct drive transmission.
The Supro electric van’s motor is powered by the 72V Li-ion (Lithium-ion) battery that will have long lasting and maintenance free. With the electric drivetrain and motor, the Surpo van can be reached the top speed of 60km/h. The e-Supro maximum drive range is 115 km while the passenger variant claims 112 km drive range.
Using the 15Amp plug point, the e-Supro’s battery can be charged in 8hours and half hours. In addition, the Mahindra Supro electric variant offers with the unique instrument cluster and regenerative braking. In the Boost mode, the van offers with the additional torque that handles steep inclines. Revive is the special feature introduce in Mahindra e-Verito and helped the vehicle to offer an extra 7km range when the 72V batteries are out of power. This feature helps the customer in an unexpected situation to locate the charging station.
Mostly, the e-Supro is similar to the current Supro diesel van and measuring the length of 3,798mm, the width of 1,540mm and height of 1,922mm. It is the stylish and eco-friendly 8-seater electric van from Mahindra offered at the affordable price in India.
