The Japanese carmaker, Suzuki has already unveiled the updated S-Cross earlier this year and it was also previewed at the 2016 Paris Motor Show. The Indian carmaker plans to launch the S-Cross facelift in the country by the end of 2017. Currently, Maruti Suzuki’s premium network of Nexa sells the S-Cross crossover in India with the best-in-class premium services.
As per the earlier reports, the front end of the crossover features the redesigned bumper, all-new upright grille with the vertical slats, new projector headlamps and the larger radiator grille. The interior of the car gets the number of changes, including the new interior color combinations, redesigned instrument cluster with the new MID, new seat upholstery with the different colored stitching and the new dashboard.
In the global market, the S-Cross is offered with the 1.6-litre diesel and petrol engine options along with the high-efficient 1.4-litre BoosterJet petrol engine. The mechanical specifications of the S-Cross facelift are not shared by the company, but it will be sold with the same 1.3-litre and 1.6-litre diesel engines available in the existing S-Cross.
Along with this, Maruti Suzuki is also planning to launch the Baleno RS, Maruti Ignis, Baleno SHVS and Vitara Brezza petrol in the country. Moreover, the passenger car manufacturer is working on the all-new Swift Dzire and next-generation Swift for the future customers.
