Mahindra Reva (Mahindra Electric) is planning to introduce a more powerful version of the e2o electric car in the Indian market. Before the launch, Mahindra has revealed the teaser image of the new e2o electric car. Moreover, the company has also announced that the new car will be sold as Mahindra e2oPlus in the country.
The Mahindra e2oPlus is the four-door e2o that has been spotted for few times in several locations around the country. The new one will get the major improvements than the current one and its name e2oPlus stands for the positive contributions and gives energy to the electric car. The e2oPlus is the suitable for the 4-door electric car version as the naming strategy will more important for any new vehicle to exist in the customer’s notice for a long time.
The e2oPlus will feature the two extra doors on the back side, stretched wheelbase, spacious cabin, larger boot space, as well. Moreover, the new Mahindra electric car will get the design updates and the stylish equipment to move as a different vehicle in the Mahindra’s family. Being a new car, it will offer with the chrome finished front grille with the vertical slats and tweaked front and rear bumpers.
Most of the interior features to be received from the two-door e2o like the infotainment system with the touchscreen, smartphone connectivity with the navigation support. Power outputs will also be on a higher side on the new Mahindra e2oPlus with the powerful motor.
Currently, the electric motor offered in the e2o will return the output of 25.5bhp power and 53Nm torque. The electric motor is to be reached the top speed of 81km/h and available in the moving range of 120km on a single charge. More details of the Mahindra e2oPlus are yet to be revealed. As per the report, it will be launched by this month end or before the Diwali season.
