Volkswagen Tiguan launched with bi-turbo diesel engine in the UK


Volkswagen Tiguan has been launched with a more powerful engine of new 240bhp bi-turbodiesel engine in the UK. Earlier, the Tiguan crossover has been introduced by the regular three petrol engines and one TSI engine, but this time, it is offered by the high-capacity engine. The new one makes the crossover is highly efficient than the Volkswagen Golf GTI.
The current Passat is offered by the similar kind of bi-turbocharged engine, which is a two-stage turbocharger and featured the high-performance cylinder. With the bi-turbo engine and the four-wheel drive system, the Tiguan new version is capable of hitting the 0 to 100kmph of acceleration speed in around 6.5 seconds.
Volkswagen India is still postponing the launch of VW Tiguan, but the UK market has already introduced the Tiguan top versions SEL or R-Line with the powerful engine.  The SEL variants offered with the 8-inch color touch-screen infotainment system, navigation support, adaptive cruise control, as well. While the R-Line version offered with the interior and exterior styling cues.
Volkswagen India has showcased the Tiguan, which especially heads for the Indian market, at the Auto Expo. The crossover is preparing to launch in the emerging premium crossover segment, but the engine details and specifications yet to be revealed.
