Audi launched Indian-specific A4 in Indonesia at 990,000,000 IDR

Audi, the luxury carmaker has been released its new-generation Indian-specific 2016 Audi A4 in the Indonesian market and the luxury model is available in two variants. Based on the drivetrain, the A4 car is offered in two trims with the price tags of 990,000,000 IDR and 1,200,000,000 IDR. In the Indian market, the new car costs around Rs. 49,23,716.64 on the forward wheel drivetrain and Rs. 59,68,141.38 on the all-wheel drivetrain model.

The Indonesia-specific Audi A4 is the petrol car offered with the 2.0-litre TFSI engine, which has the capacity to generate the maximum outputs of 190hp power and 320Nm torque. The new A4 FWD model has rated at the formerly mentioned outputs but, the AWD model to develop 252hp of maximum power and 370 Nm torque with the Quattro all-wheel drive system. The A4 is likely to be offered with the same kind of petrol engine options in the Indian market. There are more chances to come with the diesel variants, which will be featured the 2.0litre 4-cylinder TDI with two gearbox options of 6-speed MT and 7-speed S-Tronic automatic.

In fact, the next-generation Audi A4 has been disclosed in front of the Indian customers at the 2016 Auto Expo in February 2016. Moreover, the car has been spotted for several times in the Indian market with the lengthy body. The latest reports confirmed that the upcoming A4 model is 25mm longer, 12mm higher and 16mm wider than the outgoing model.

Both upcoming models, next-gen Audi A5 and Audi A4 to be developed based on the MLB Evo platform, which helps to reduce the car weight so that the performance of the vehicles will be increased. The new Audi A4 will reduce its overall weight by 120 kgs with the new technology-based platform.

The future-generation Audi A4 will get the additional specifications to increase its brand or product range in the luxury car market. It comes with the highest range of Matrix LED headlights with the dynamic turn signals, head-up display, 12.3 Audi Virtual Cockpit with the display screen, Bang & Olufsen Sound System features 19 speakers, Audi smartphone interface e associated with Apple CarPlay and advanced 8.3-inch screen infotainment system with MMI Navigation Plus and MMI touch.

The Indian-specific A4 is expected to be released in August 2016. Before the Indian market launch, the A4 is to be showcased at the upcoming 2016 GIIAS show that is to be started in the same month (August).

In the Indonesian market, the Audi A4 is offered in eight exterior colors, Brilliant Black, Ibis White, Floret Silver, Brown Argus, Manhattan Grey, Scuba Blue, Tango Red and Mythos Red.
