The prototype model of the
Mahindra Bolero facelift has been spied on the roads with the partially covered
body and the spotted images captured by the carwale team. Bolero is the popular
product in the utility vehicle segment and becoming the best contributor to the
total domestic car sales. Now, Mahindra is planning to introduce the facelift
of its best-selling SUV Bolero in the Indian market with the modern look. The
design changes to be applied to the upcoming Bolero facelift for extra appearance
than the existing model. Mostly, there are no new engines and mechanical specifications
added in the Bolero facelift.
The overall body is similar to
the existing model in the latest images but, the facelift will feature the
amber colored tail lamps, smaller tailgate handles, new bumper design on the
front side, as well. The exterior profile gets somewhat changes for fresh appearance
but, the list of interior changes not disclosed. We expect that the interior
will have refinished dashboard, new upholstery and the enormous boot space. There
is no guarantee whether the model will get these much of changes or not for the
Indian customers, but the Bolero is expected to continue its brand name.
The new facelift will be available
with the 2523cc mHawk m2DiCR engine, which is paired with the five-speed manual
transmission box to generate 63bhp of the maximum power. The Bolero facelift
will return the best mileage of 15.96kmpl in the Indian environment. The
earlier reports suggested that Mahindra will release the compact SUV Bolero model
to alive the product brand name in India. But, the existed one is expected to get
just updates based on the spied images.
The recent products, TUV 300 and
NuvoSport, from the utility vehicle major, are introduced in the compact SUV
segment. Besides, e-Verito is the new electric car introduced by Mahindra to popular
in the electric vehicle segment.
