Mahindra electric car e-Verito launched in India at Rs. 9.50lakhs


Mahindra Electric has been launched the new electric car Mahindra e-Verito in the domestic car market at the cost range Rs. 9.50lakhs to Rs. 10lakhs. The Verito electric car is the second all-electric vehicle from the utility vehicle major and available in three variants, D2, D4 and D6 in the Indian passenger vehicle market. The Mahindra e-Verito is introduced under the FAME scheme and sold through the Mahindra dealerships in India.

The Verito electric car comes with the Lithium-ion 72 Volt battery pack, which will take around 9 hours (exactly 8 hours and 45 minutes) for a full charge. The same time will be taken by the base trims D2 and D4 but, the e-Verito D6 variant takes around 1 hour and 45 minutes as it is featured with the Fast Charging point. The quick charging is only possible through the Mahindra Electric Fast Charging Station.



The electric car has a total speed range of 110km with the fully-charged battery and the speed can be increased with the regenerative braking feature that is available as the standard feature in all variants. 

In the domestic market, e-Verito is the first car introduced by the revolutionary technology –Regenerative Braking. The top-speed of the Mahindra e-Verito will be rated at 86km/h with the clutch free driving.

Being an electric sedan from Mahindra, the e-Verito D2 comes with the ECO/BOOST drive modes and 2-DIN audio system with the USB, Aux and Audio support. The features available on the Verito electric are electro-hydraulic power steering, remote lock & keyless entry, power windows, as well.
