Volkswagen launched Polo Select and Vento Celeste limited editions

Volkswagen has launched the limited editions of the regular Polo hatchback and Vento sedan models in the Indian market. The special editions are named as VW Polo Select and Vento Celeste, which are introduced based on the high-end versions of the existed models. Both cars get the design changes and new features for an extra appearance like with the earlier special editions. Few months back, the German carmaker has launched the limited editions of both models for the Indian customers.

The special features not offered in the existing Polo and Vento models and the exterior of the special cars can be featured the black colored side moldings, faux carbon fiber ORVM caps, a roof spoiler on the Polo Select, trunk garnish on the Vento Celeste and contrasting black roof wrap. The interior of the both cars have equipped with the detachable sun blinds, seat covers with the logo, floor mats and faux carbon fiber centre console. Additionally, the Vento Celeste comes with the advanced Blaupunkt audio system that has total GPS navigation support. The Polo Select features all four door sills with scuff plates and the standard equipment.

There are no mechanical changes applied to the Volkswagen special editions, the Polo Select is offered with the 1.2 MPI engine on the petrol variants and 1.5 TDI on the diesel versions. While the Vento Celeste is expected to be available with the 1.5 TDI engine, which is paired with the 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox.

The prices of the VW special editions not disclosed by the company but, we expect that the models will cost around Rs. 16,000 to Rs. 45,000 higher than the existing respective models. Volkswagen Dealers in Mumbai to offer the special editions as per the customer requirements, according to the report from carwale.

Ameo is the upcoming compact sedan from Volkswagen introduced in the car market soon. The bookings for the new Ameo car, which is specially designed for the emerging Indian market, are opened at the VW dealerships in India for the last month.
