Mahindra e-Verito electric vehicle to release on June 2

Mahindra is set all to launch its new e-Verito electric vehicle on 2nd June 2016 in the Indian market, according to the latest reports of Overdrive. The fully electric vehicle has been showcased at the Auto Expo 2012 for the first time and now, it is ready to introduce in this year. The prototype model of the e-Verito, which is the second electric vehicle from Mahindra, has been showcased at the Auto Expo 2014.  The production-ready model was again showcased to the domestic customers at Delhi Auto Expo 2016.

The earlier statements confirmed that it would be released in April 2016 but, the company has taken extra time to launch the electric vehicle in India. The Mahindra e-Verito is to be available with the 72V 3-phase AC induction motor, which will generate maximum power of 41hp (30.5 kW) and the torque of 91Nm. The e-Verito is the new sedan from Mahindra and claimed the top speed of 86km per hour. with the full charge of the electric motor, the Mahindra’s electric vehicle has the capacity to travel 100km.
The Verito electric vehicle will be offered in three trims, D2, D4 and D6, the higher variant receives less time to charge the motor than the lower variants. For the reason that, the D6 variant is to be offered with the faster charger mode. Consequently, the D6 variant takes around 1.5 hours for the full charge while the lower trims will take 8 hours.
The utility vehicle major has exported its first electric vehicle, Mahindra e2o to the neighbour markets, including Nepal and other global markets. The e-Verito is expected to be introduced in the international markets after its successful launch in India. But, the global-specific model will be available with the additional technology based features for the new and premiere appearance.
The expected ex-showroom cost of the Verito electric is Rs. 8 lakh on the base variant.
