Mahindra’s SsangYong launched Tivoli XLV in UK



Mahindra’s owned South Korean company, SsangYong has been launched the Tivoli XLV in the UK market at £ 18,250 OTR, equal to Rs 16.06 lakhs. The SsangYong Tivoli, which was named as SsangYong Tivoli Air in the South Korean market. The extended Tivoli is available in four models with single diesel fuel type, manual 2WD, auto 2WD, manual 4X4 and auto 4X4. 
The Tivoli XLV is 238mm longer than the regular Tivoli and measuring 4,440mm of length with the extended rear part near to C-pillar. Moreover, it measures 1798mm of width, 1635mm of height and is offered with the 2600mm wheelbase and 167mm ground clearance. The SsangYong Tivoli has available with the 720-litre of cargo space.
Let’s talk about the mechanical specifications, the Tivoli XLV is powered by the 1.6-litre 4-cylinder diesel engine, which was rated at 115 PS of power at 3,400 to 4,000rpm and the torque of 300Nm at 1,500 to 2,500 rpm. As already mentioned, the Tivoli XLV is available with the two powertrain options of FWD and 4WD and two transmissions of 6-speed manual and automatic. The Tivoli XLV petrol option is not offered in the UK market.

The extended version of SsangYong Tivoli is offered with the noteworthy features of daytime running lights with LED indicators, engine start-stop, keyless entry and the infotainment system with the 6-speaker sound system, 7-inch touchscreen and TomTom navigation. The compact SUV has offered with the driver assistance and safety features, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Start Assist (HAS), Hydraulic Brake Assist and ARP – Active Rollover Protection. 
Coming to the Indian market, the next-generation SsangYong Tivoli has been spied with the LED taillights in Ahmedabad and Chennai surrounding areas. Till the date, the Tivoli XLV is not confirmed for the Indian market. Around three months back, the Indian-bound Tivoli has been introduced in Nepal.
