Suzuki, the Japanese manufacturer has confirmed that it will introduce its sub-4metre SUV Vitara in the Brazilian market. The carmaker has been announced that Vitara is to launch soon, but it hasn’t revealed the total information, including the launch date, model specifications and features planned for the country. The new Suzuki Vitara is the fourth-generation model, which has been premiered at the 2014 Paris Show. Moreover, the Euro-specific model has been received the production in March 2015 and the same model will ready to launch in Brazil.
The Suzuki Vitara measures the length
of 4,175mm, the width of 1,775mm and the height of 1,610mm and comes with the
high ground clearance of 185mm and wheelbase of 2,500mm. The Euro-specific
model is available with the three engines, which will be mated to three
automatic transmissions and two fuel options. The compact SUV is offered with
the M16A 1.6-litre 4-cylinder (naturally aspirated) engine that is rated at the
power of 117.96hp or 88kW and the torque of 156Nm. Another petrol engine of
K14C 1.4-litre 4-cylinder is the turbocharged, highly powerful and performance
based motor rated at the maximum outputs of 138.07hp (103kW) and 220Nm. The
same outputs delivered by the Vitara S with the same K14C engines.
The diesel unit of the Euro-specific
compact SUV is available with the D16AA 1.6-litre 4-cylinder, which is the
turbocharged diesel engine developing the Maximum output of 117.96hp or 88kW
and 320Nm. The same engines expected to
offer in Suzuki Vitara for the Brazilian market with the 5-speed and 6-speed
manual and 6-speed automatic gearboxes.
