Volkswagen Russia has been
introduced the limited edition of Volkswagen Polo Sedan with the basic price
tag of 5,99,500 rubles (Rs. 6.3 Lakhs). The limited edition is named as the VW
Polo Sedan AllStar, which will be called as Vento AllStar in the Indian market.
The special edition is expected to be offered in the three grades, Comfortline,
Trendline and Highline.
The Vento Allstar has unveiled in
Copper Orange color in the Russian market and featured the new door sill guard,
B-pillar with the “AllStar” badge and chrome embellishers. Additionally, the
new VW car features the electrically operated ORVMs and anti-theft system. The
interior of the Polo Sedan Allstar is available with the leather-wrapped
steering wheel, 2-DIN music system, metal pedals, central armrest, exclusive
seat covers and 2-DIN music system with the 4 audio speakers.
No mechanical changes applied to
the Vento Allstar, which is available with the regular 1.6-litre petrol engine
rated at two power outputs of 85PS and 105PS. The 5-speed manual gearbox is
offered as standard transmission in both 85PS and 105PS variants, but the
6-speed automatic is featured in the 105PS variant.
The Polo AllStar edition is
expected to launch in the Indian market in the coming festival season at the around
existing price range of Vento. The model has been spied in December 2015 for
the first time and later, it has appeared on roads in April 2016. As per the
reports of sources, the Allstar edition is to be offered on the Volkswagen
range models, including Jetta, Golf Cabriolet, Vento, beetle Scirocco, as well.
