Suzuki Nepal launched India-made Vitara Brezza in Nepal

                              

The India-made Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza has been launched in Nepal by Suzuki Nepal at the starting price of NP 35.99lakhs. The sub-4metre SUV is to be distributed through the sales channel of Suzuki Nepal, CG NXT|GEN in Nepal and available in six versions. The mechanical specifications offered in the Nepal-specific model are similar to the existing Vitara Brezza in the Indian market.

The Vitara Brezza comes with the 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine, which generates 90PS and 200Nm of output and mated to the 5-speed manual gearbox. With the pack the four-cylinder engine and forward wheel drivetrain, the first compact SUV of Maruti Suzuki has the capability to return ARAI certified fuel efficiency of 24.3kmpl.
    
The compact SUV measures the length of 3,995mm, the width of 1,790mm and the height of 1,640mm and has a ground clearance of 198mm and wheelbase of 2500mm.  Being a small SUV, it will compete with the Ford EcoSport and Mahindra TUV 300 in Nepal.

                                 

The high-end variant is available with the premium features of 16-inch alloy wheels, dual tone exterior color is optional, projector headlights, automatic climate control, SmartPlay infotainment system with the 7-inch touch screen and inbuilt navigation and Apple CarPlay support. Additionally, the car features 60:40 split seat, cruise control, start/stop button and reverse parking camera.

Coming to the safety features, all versions available with the driver airbag as a standard one, but the front passenger airbag along with the ABS and EBD is standard in high end variants (ZDI and ZDI+) and optional in LDI and VDI variants.

In India, Maruti’s first sub-4metre SUV has received a waiting period of six to eight months due to the demand. As per the sources, the model is manufacturing at the production facility with the full production capacity, even though the deliveries are pending in the domestic market.
