Volkswagen Vento Highline Plus Spied With LED Headlights


The German carmaker’s upcoming model, Vento Highline Plus has been tested and the captured images indicated that the car features the LED headlights with the daytime running lights. MotorBeam has captured the images of VW Vento Highline Plus, which receives exterior design and major interior features from the existing Vento Highline model.

According to the sources, VolkswagenVento Highline Plus is most probably set to launch in the next coming festival season. The Vento sedan has got the major updates in terms of the outside equipment, new bumper design, LED taillamps, new front grille, chrome garnish and other features in the last year. The upcoming Highline Plus is also available with the same kind of features with the additional feature of LED Headlights.

The interior part of the new Highline Plus version is almost similar to the currently selling Vento Highline version, which is offered with the auto dimming IRVM, rain sensing wipers, Mirrorlink connectivity, SMS viewer or Phone book and advanced touch screen infotainment system.

                           

Being a new high-end version, the Vento Highline Plus is to be powered by the three types of engines, 1.2-litre TSI petrol, 1.6-litre MPI petrol and 1.5-litre TDI diesel. The engines will be mated with the two transmission options, 5-speed manual and the 7-speed DSG. The automatic gearbox fitted in the Vento TSI variant as a standard feature, but it is offered as an optional feature on the TDI variant. While the 5-speed gearbox is the standard feature in both MPI and TDI variants.

Launched in 2015, the Vento facelift is becoming as the best-selling sedan in India and compete with its segment models, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Hyundai Verna and Honda City. The Vento has more demand not only in India but also in the export markets with the Indian-made quality design and performance. More than 1,00,000 vehicles exported to the Mexican market, one of the biggest markets of Volkswagen India.
