Maruti Baleno and Vitara Brezza prices increased up to Rs. 20,000

                                 

According to Indian Autos blog reports, the prices of the new Maruti cars, Vitara Brezza and Baleno increased up to Rs. 20,000 in the Indian car market. The hike is based on the version’s demand, the company’s strategic objectives and other movements in the market. The new prices of the new best-selling models valid from 1^st August 2016.

The Vitara Brezza is the first compact SUV costs Rs. 7.19lakhs to Rs. 9.88 lakhs on the diesel variants. It has previously offered with the price tag of Rs. 6.99 to Rs. 9.68lakhs. Speaking about the Baleno hatchback price structure, the premium model costs Rs. 5.25lakh to Rs. 8.36lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Previously, the Baleno costs Rs. 5.15 to Rs. 8.33Lakhs.

Both models have an admirable demand in the market so that Maruti Suzuki has delayed its upcoming small crossover (Ignis) launch. Based on the versions, both models have received six to nine months of waiting period and now, the company is totally focused on the delivery of the both booking models in India.

                                     

Maruti Suzuki sold a total of 1,25,778 units in the domestic market in the last month and reported the positive sales growth. Especially, the UV segment with the Vitara Brezza contributes the highest percent share in the Maruti total sales. In July 2016, the company’s UV segment accounted for 151.3 percent growth in the passenger car market.

Sales of both Baleno and Brezza (compact SUV) influenced the company to get the maximum sales in the previous month. The Vitara Brezza has already received more than 95,000 booking orders from the customers, but the Baleno booking orders yet to be revealed.

With the introduction of Baleno RS, which is scheduled to launch in the coming festival season, the company sales expected to be raised as the new model developed with the 1.0-litre BoosterJet petrol engine.
