Upcoming Mahindra’s MPV Spotted in Chennai


The upcoming Multi-purpose vehicle of the largest utility vehicle maker has been spotted for testing at the outside regions of Chennai. Previously, the model has been tested by Mahindra with the heavy camouflage. It is the second time, the updated model has tested and the set of spy shots available in the market.
New MPV is expected to get the typical design than the existing ones and offer with the three rows of seating, forward sloping roof and the hatchback type of rear door. Most of the front design of the new MPV is expected to be similar to its best-selling SUV, Mahindra XUV 500. Being a new Mahindra car, it will be developed with the best monocoque platform of Mahindra.


The front-wheel drivetrain is the standard drive system to be offered in the Mahindra’s new MPV, while the all-wheel drive will be an optional one. Similar to the company’s SUV (XUV 500), it will be available in two fuel types and if possible, the hybrid version could be offered to the Indian customers.
The new MPV would be designed with the better stylish structure and equipment than the Mahindra Xylo and the model will compete the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and Toyota Innova. The spacious cabin, the fleet and the three-row seating will give a different look to the new car.


Mahindra’s MPV Launch:

The new Mahindra MPV could be reached the Indian market in any time of 2018 and offered at the affordable price range. This car will increase the MPV segment range in the passenger vehicle market as well as Mahindra’s market share in the total PV sales.
