Volkswagen India has announced its sales reports of the last month
and stated that the company has an increment of 6.75 percent with sales of
4.301 units. Volkswagen, the German based carmaker sold 4,029 units in the same
month of the previous year. Currently, the Polo hatchback, Polo GT, Vento
sedan, Vento TSI, Jetta and Ameo models available in the market. The VW Ameo is
the new sub4-metre sedan specially designed for the Indian customers as well as
made-in-India only. The Ameo was launched in June 2016, but the deliveries
started from the last week of July 2016.
Volkswagen India has a dip in terms of sales in June, while it has
picked up in the last month with the new entry-level compact sedan, Ameo. The
sales growth in July 2016 is the great experience for Volkswagen ahead of the festival
season. The German carmaker is planning to increase the Volkswagen product’s
range in the Indian market by introducing the future promised and new-gen
models. The upcoming Volkswagen Tiguan is under working and to be available with
the emission-free engines.
By observing the Indian consumer’s eagerness about the compact
cars, Volkswagen expected that the company will have the same sales experience
in the coming months with the Ameo. For the Ameo buyers, the company has been offered
the special service packages with 3 to 4 years of warranty, roadside assistance,
as well.
Moreover, the Polo GTI with the high efficient engine is coming to
India soon to target the existed best-selling hatchbacks and get the maximum
sales. Volkswagen confirmed that the new generation Indian-specific Polo and
Vento models to offer with the latest and performance-based engines and transmissions.
Volkswagen Ameo costs Rs. 5.42lakhs (Ex-showroom, Hyderabad) on the base variant and the
price is differs based upon the versions.
